The Dostinex/Cabergoline is the only treatment I had for the tumors (well, Bromocriptine early on, but just for a small about of time). Prior to going on Cabergoline I’d read that there was a chance it would lead to tumor shrinkage. I can’t recall if I’d read it was “a good chance” or a “small chance” of shrinkiage but I do remember that I’d always expected that the tumors were shrinking and I wasn’t terribly surprised that they had.

I noticed that even though you had two tumors on the pituitary gland, you never mentioned surgery. Was the medication all that was done for your situation? If so, was that all that was required for your situation?

I am in the midst of going through this process and my MRI is in one week.

Thanks for your well told story with good humor.
